TUJIJENGE Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 2/4/2026

Thank you for choosing TUJIJENGE. By using our platform, you’re joining a community committed to uplifting entrepreneurs and creators across the world. Please take a moment to read these terms carefully—they explain your rights, responsibilities, and how we work together to make this platform safe and effective for everyone.

1. About TUJIJENGE

TUJIJENGE (“the Platform,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a community-driven crowdfunding and lending platform that connects passionate entrepreneurs, especially from developing regions, with supporters who want to help bring meaningful projects to life. We act as a bridge that enables fundraising campaigns and community lending, fostering hope and opportunity.

It’s important to understand: TUJIJENGE is a facilitator only. We do not guarantee campaign success, loan repayments, or any user’s actions on the platform.

2. Funding Campaigns and Fees

2.1 Funding Goals

To be successful, campaigns must reach their full funding goal. If a campaign does not meet its target by the deadline:

  • All funds contributed will be returned to the supporters.
  • A small 5% fee will be taken to cover our platform’s operational costs.
  • The rest (95%) will be returned to the original payment method within 7 to 14 business days.
  • No funds will be given to the campaign creator.

2.2 Fees for Successful Campaigns

When a campaign reaches its goal:

  • TUJIJENGE charges a 5% platform fee on the total raised.

  • Payment processors charge approximately 3.4% + $0.30 per transaction.

  • If currency conversion applies, a 2.9% fee will be added.

  • For international transfers, fees between $15-$25 depending on location may apply.

2.3 Commitment from Campaign Creators

Every campaign creator shows their dedication by contributing at least 10% of the goal themselves (up to $20 USD). This must be done before launching and is non-refundable, regardless of the campaign’s outcome. This helps build trust and shows you truly believe in your project.

3. Responsibilities of Users
